Welcome to Memory AI. By using our application and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of service. Please read carefully before using.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Memory AI, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are not permitted to use the service.

2. Service Description

Memory AI is a smart learning application that provides the following features:

• Upload knowledge from multiple formats (voice, audio, video, images, documents, text)
• AI analysis and extraction of important content
• Spaced Repetition System (SRS) for review
• Review modes: Quiz, Feynman, Socratic, Flashcards
• 5 AI tutors with different teaching styles
• Achievement and learning progress tracking

3. User Accounts

3.1. Account Registration

To use the full features of Memory AI, you need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

3.2. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login information and all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you discover unauthorized access.

3.3. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time. After the request, your account will be deleted after 14 days. During this time, you can log back in to cancel the deletion request.

4. Usage Rules

4.1. Lawful Use

You agree to use Memory AI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

4.2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share content that:

• Violates copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
• Is illegal, pornographic, defamatory, or offensive
• Contains viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Collects other users' information without authorization
• Disrupts or damages the service

4.3. Usage Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the application
• Reverse engineer, decrypt, or decompile the software
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools
• Resell or commercialize the service
• Impersonate another person or organization

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Memory AI's Rights

The Memory AI application, including design, logo, interface, algorithms, and source code, is our property and is protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading, you grant us the right to use that content to provide and improve the service.

6. Subscription Plans and Payments

6.1. Free Plan

The free plan provides 2 uses per day with limits on duration and capacity. No payment information is required to use the free plan.

6.2. Subscription Plans

Memory AI offers the following subscription plans available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store:

• Weekly Plan: $4.99 USD per week, automatically renews weekly
• Annual Plan: $99.99 USD per year, automatically renews yearly
• Annual Plan with Free Trial: 7-day free trial, then $99.99 USD per year after the trial ends, automatically renews yearly
• Special Offer Annual Plan: $49.99 USD per year (limited time promotional pricing), automatically renews yearly

Important Notes:

• Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Users may see different prices and applicable taxes based on their country or region.
• All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions are managed through your App Store or Google Play account settings, not within the Memory AI app.

6.3. Free Trial Terms

For plans that include a free trial:

• Trial Duration: 7 days of full access to all premium features at no cost
• Automatic Conversion: After the 7-day trial period ends, you will be automatically charged $99.99 USD per year unless you cancel before the trial ends
• Cancellation: You can cancel anytime during the trial period to avoid being charged. To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and turn off auto-renewal
• Trial Eligibility: Free trials are available only to new subscribers and may be limited to one per user
• Access After Cancellation: If you cancel during the trial, you will retain access to premium features until the end of the 7-day trial period

How to Cancel Your Free Trial:

• iOS (iPhone/iPad): Open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Memory AI → Cancel Subscription
• Android: Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Memory AI → Cancel Subscription

6.4. Subscription Management and Cancellation

Managing Your Subscription:

• All subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account
• You can view, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings
• Cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period
• Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew

Billing and Renewal:

• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• The renewal price will be the same as your initial subscription price unless you are notified of a price change in advance

6.5. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund policies follow the regulations of the respective platform:

• Apple App Store: Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through your purchase history. Memory AI does not have access to or control over App Store refunds.
• Google Play Store: Refund requests must be submitted directly to Google through your Google Play account. Memory AI does not have access to or control over Google Play refunds.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis by the respective platform according to their policies
• Generally, refunds are not available for partial subscription periods

6.6. Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. However:

• Price changes will not affect your current subscription period
• You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect
• Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price
• You may cancel your subscription before the price change takes effect if you do not agree to the new pricing

6.7. Regional Pricing and Taxes

Subscription prices may vary based on your geographic location and local currency. Additional taxes, duties, or fees may apply based on your country or region's regulations. The final price you pay will be displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase and may include applicable taxes as required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

Memory AI is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Specific learning outcomes or AI accuracy
• AI-generated content is completely accurate

In any case, our legal liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid in the last 12 months.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Memory AI harmless from any claims, losses, or costs arising from your violation of these terms or unauthorized use of the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, without prior notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction.
